Wake Tech Offers Two Health and Medical Insurance Plans

Each curriculum student is covered by accident insurance, as a part of the student administration fee. However, some students may have a need to obtain health and medical insurance for themselves and their families.

Both companies provide community college students the option to participate in a group policy. The North Carolina Community College Student Health Plan (NCCCSHP) administered by CIGNA HealthCare and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC)administered by United Health Care. Wake Technical Community College does not have a business relationship with either insurance company listed on this Web page. These polices are placed on the Web page “as is” and only as a convenience to students. The college does not recommend, encourage or promote the products of either insurance company and does not assume responsibility or liability for the accuracy of the information provided.
