The Wake Tech women’s volleyball team ended the 2009 regular season with an impressive 12-9 record. The team will travel to Cape Fear Community College on November 6 & 7 to participate in the Region Tournament.

The lady Eagles took on Central Carolina Community College last night in Sanford and brought home the first win of the Fall 2009 season for Wake Tech! The scores were as follows: 25-17, 25-8, 25-13.

For Middle & High School Girls, Ages 11-16

Monday, August 17: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 18: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, August 20: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

$45.00 for 6 hours

George Tsai, Head Coach for Women’s Volleyball at Wake Tech, will teach all participants - beginners to intermediate level players - the following skills: Pass Footwork, Underhand Pass, Overhand, Serve-Receive Pass, Serving Basics, Blocking, Attack Basics, Setting, Defense + Roll & Dive.

WTCC 2009 Varsity Volleyball Tryout!

Saturday, August 1st from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
AND
Monday, August 3rd from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Tryouts will be held at North Raleigh Christian Academy- located at 7300 Perry Creek Road, Raleigh. The gym is located towards the back of the school.

To participate at tryouts, you must complete and submit:
(1) NJCAA Eligibility Form
(2) Sports Medicine Packet (physical)
(3) Publicity Release Form - for authorization of photo/video release

These forms can be picked up in the Athletics Dept. - located in the Student Services Building, Rooms 019 & 021 on Main Campus. The NJCAA Eligibility Form and Sports Medicine Packet can be downloaded from this site under ‘Forms.’
