An accomplished softball player, Dobbins was captain of the Peace College team in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and was selected for the All-Conference team each year. She was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Atlantic Regional Team in 2005 and 2006. She also played on teams competing in the World University Games in Sydney, Australia, in 2005, and the Spanish Cup in Barcelona, Spain, in 2006. Dobbins got her start on the varsity team at Southeast Raleigh High School. She previously served as head coach at St. David’s High School in Raleigh and as assistant coach at Peace College. She is currently working toward her master’s degree at N.C. State University.

Nicole is the daughter of Charlie and Lisa Dobbins of Raleigh. She has one brother, Charlie.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Nicole works at Grand Slam USA batting cages in Raleigh. She is a Red Sox and NCSU Wolfpack fan. Nicole enjoys playing softball, hanging out with friends and family, reading, and going to the beach and the mountains.
