Men’s Soccer Win First Game of 2009 Season!

On Sunday, August 30, the men’s soccer team scored their first win of the season! They took on USC Sumter at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Ameer Elmhrath scored the first goal in the first half, followed by Nazmi Albadawi. The score at the end of the first was 2-0. In the 76 minutes of play, Nazmi finished it off with his second goal. The game ended 3-1 with Wake Tech on top.

2009 Soccer Tryouts!

RANSDELL SOCCER FIELD
(1501 Ideal Lane, Fuquay Varina NC, 27526)
** Must attend all 4 days to be considered for the team **
In order to participate, the following paperwork must be completed prior to tryouts:
(1) NJCAA Eligibility Form
(2) WTCC Sports Medicine Packet - to be signed and stamped by a physician.
Both forms can be downloaded from the forms section (on the homepage) of this website or picked up from the Athletics office, located in the Student Services Building, Rooms 019 & 021 on Main Campus.

Summer 2009 Youth Soccer Clinics

Soccer is an international sport played worldwide. It is one of the most fast paced and popular sports in the world. This summer, the Athletics Department at Wake Tech will host four youth soccer clinics conducted by head soccer coach, Godfrey Miller. The clinics will be held at Ransdell Soccer Field (1501 Ideal Lane, Fuquay Varina NC, 27526).
Saturday, June 13th - 10:00 a.m. until noon
Saturday, June 27th - 10:00 a.m. until noon
Saturday, July 11th - 10:00 a.m. until noon
Clinics are open to boys and girls ages 7 - 16.
Sessions are $40 each, or sign up for all 4 sessions and pay only $120!
